Viking was one of 22 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Ove Helgesen Trophy 2018. The team in Boys 2003 made it to the the Bronze match in Playoff Band won it over Minde IL by 2-0.
In addition to this, Viking have participated in Ove Helgesen Trophy before. During Ove Helgesen Trophy 2017, Viking had three teams playing in Boys 2004, Boys 2003 and Boys 2002 respectively. The team in Boys 2003 made it to the the 9-10 in Playoff Aand won it over Mjøndalen by 3-0.
