CSKA Moskva was the only club from Russia that had teams playing during Ove Helgesen Trophy 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 2004.
In addition to CSKA Moskva, 15 other teams from 4 different countries played in Boys 2004. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof CSKA Moskva could be found in Group D together with Åsane, Team Haugesund and Team Sogndal. CSKA Moskva made it to Playoff A after reaching 1:st place in Group D. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Midtjylland, which they won with 2-0. Thereby CSKA Moskva won the entire Playoff A in Boys 2004 during Ove Helgesen Trophy 2017.
